whew.. finally getting organized

Sorry for taking so long to post back. I have been trying to rearrange my schedule to give me time to use the gym at work.

I've also been working with the obesity study manager to get a chart of my progress and I have not had a lot of success. I'll plan on bringing my own chart with me to the next appointment.

Update for today is that I got up early and went to the gym. I used a treadmill for an hour and according to the programming (not sure I believe the programming but it is likely fairly close) I burned up 500 calories. After the workout I walked at normal pace to cooldown.

I set the target heart rate at 140. I acheived the target at about 20 minutes. Continued the rest of the workout.

As of my last visit which was two weeks ago I had lost an additional 5 lbs. Total fat release so far is about 8 lbs. This has me averaging about 2 lbs fat release per week.

On the menu so far today is a few green grapes (about ten or so) which I consumed about 10 minutes after the workout. I'll wait about an hour and then I will have a bowl of Mueslix for breakfast with milk. Lunch is planned as a bowl of chicken soup with noodles. Dinner will be grilled chicken breast with a mix of broccoli and cauliflower on the side.

I've pretty much eliminated potatoes and any type of soft drinks from my diet. I believe a lot of that has to do with the weight loss so far.

Now that I have actually started seriously exercising I am certain the weight release will occur faster.

You may notice that I am not using words such as weight LOSS or Fat LOSS. I am writing fat release because I don't intend to "find" the weight again.
