Merry Christmas

Good morning everybody. After a late night celebrating Noche Buena, (Christmas Eve) I am working 6 hours today at work. Last night's feast included Cuban style roast pork, Yuca in mojo, Moros and Cristianos (black beans with rice).

The Lorcaserin Hydrochloride appears to be working to reduce my appetite. Normally at a feast like this I would have had seconds (perhaps even thirds). The urge to eat more didn't happen. At dessert I took small samples of each of the desserts available (a Tablespoon or so of each, as an ex-professional cook I always enjoyed sampling).

Today I've taken my dose of Lorcaserin and had a sugar free cocoa. If I can find a place open after work I'll look for some lobster tails and make enchilados de langosta. A cuban recipe for lobster made with garlic, onions, pimientas, tomato sauce and dry white wine.

That's all for now. I will likely post again later today.

Christmas Eve

Good morning, I've been faithful about taking the Lorcaserin Hydrochloride. I've not yet begun an exercise routine or done much more than be careful about what I'm eating. Part of the issue is the timing that I began the trial. As most of Us know the holiday season is a tough time to begin a diet.

Additionally the first few days were adjusting to initial side affects of taking the Lorcaserin. I experienced some bad headaches and occasional dizziness during the first few days.

My next appointment will be on January 3rd at that time I'll be asking the dietician to copy the files. I'll post on that day my initial weight and physical condition from the previous visit.

I expect it will take a day or two for the blood tests from January 3rd to be processes. When I receive the information I will post the second round of tests here so people can prepare.

First week

Hello everybody, I am creating this blog to record for posterity my progress in losing weight. I have been accepted into an Obesity Study for Lorcaserin Hydrochloride. The study will be two years long. I intend to record my daily activites, as much information as possible about what I eat, drink. Additionally I will record the results of blood tests etc.. required by the study program.
